A bit of history and some stories about vintage bikes for sale

’68 Sensation Go Devil Mini Bike

It’s Sunday morning and I need a a little chuckle. And there is nothing better than a mini bike to give me that grin. I can go back to my youth riding all around the neighborhood (and annoying the hell out of the neighborhood) on Byron Snedackers mini bike with a big smile on my face.

I found this little bike on ebay today…and by the way, it’s raining cats and dogs here in So Cal this morning so I’m cruising ebay instead of riding…it’s ’68 Go Devil mini bike in good condition. The owner says it’s a Honda but it’s not..it’s a regular old standard Go Devil…which is just fine. Originally these mini bikes came powered by the mighty Tecumsah 3.5HP motor but were upgraded as time went along. This is a twist the throttle and go bike…too much fun.

So, to make this quick, if you’re looking for a cool little piece of history to get your kid, or your own ‘inner child’ laugh and giggle all the way down the road…illegally of course (what fun would it be if it were legal???) Click on the pics below and put something fun under your Christmas tree this year.
